How Do You Get a Shelty to Fetch?

I have a shelty, and I simply can't get her to fetch. What do I do?

AKA Mommy April 13, 2011 at 4:50 am: Sheltie’s usually have a very high play drive. perhaps she isn’t interested in the toy you have offered to her as a fetch toy. course she could be one of those Shelties that doesn’t like playing fetch. I’ve had Shelties that couldn’t have given 2 flips about fetching…and others that seem to live for it.
